We know election administrators are constantly combating the spread of mis-, dis-, and malinformation online. Election offices across the country are engaged in dedicated communications campaigns, detailed FAQ web pages, social media mythbusting, and more.
Democracy Works is proud to be part of that effort, too.
By participating in the Voting Information Project (VIP) for the 2022 Midterms, state and county election offices helped flood the internet with official, trusted election information.
Leading up to the November election, voters saw VIP data when they:

OR LOOKED AT DOZENS OF OTHER WEBSITES AND ONLINE RESOURCES
— some of which featured our embeddable Voting Information Tool or linked to our Get To The Polls webpage.
Helping millions of voters
Google has reported that their Search features on how and where to vote for the 2022 Midterms, which included VIP’s early vote, ballot drop-off and election day voting location data, were seen over 140 million times. By connecting trusted information from election offices with major online platforms, VIP helps millions of voters find information they need to cast their ballot.
