The 2020 election, national trauma around race, the pandemic, and the recession have further divided our country and tested our democracy. Americans need unifying leaders, trusted information, and accessible ways to move their communities forward.
American companies have the reach, power, and influence to be a force for reliable information and civic engagement. That’s why Civic Alliance exists – to unite thousands of businesses to drive voter participation and work toward a stronger future together.
In 2020, Democracy Works and the CAA Foundation co-founded Civic Alliance to help companies develop and maximize the impact of their voter engagement strategies.
Through Civic Alliance, we provide strategic guidance so companies can drive civic engagement and voter participation among their employees and their customers. Our membership includes 1,277 companies with 5,750,089 employees combined.
We provide members with nonpartisan resources, civic tools, and best practices to drive participation.
We convene civic experts, nonprofit partners, and other leaders to help our member companies chart their path forward.
By offering coaching, concierge support, and connections to mentors and peers, we ensure our members’ success.
We champion our members and create opportunities for these brands to promote their leadership in the civic space.
